De negentiende editie van de gids Gault & Millau werd vanmiddag (13/12) voorgesteld door Virginie Claes. In de nieuwe gids staan 1.375 adressen, waaronder 135 nieuwkomers en 122 stijgers.
Helemaal bovenaan prijkt zoals steeds het Hof van Cleve van chef Peter Goossens met een score van 19,5 op 20. De prijs voor Chef van het Jaar 2022 gaat naar Thierry Theys van Nuance in Duffel.
De nummer één in onze provincie blijft Slagmolen in Oudsbergen, met 18 op 20.
De Vlaamse ontdekking van het jaar vind je in Riemst. Bij Klost’r zorgt chef Pieter Kellens voor een productgedreven en heel smaakvolle keuken.
Voor het beste dessert moet je ook in Limburg zijn: bij Ralph Berendsen in Lanaken, voorheen La Source.
De beste bierkaart van België en Luxemburg vind je dan weer bij restaurant Taratata in Hasselt.
Limburgse nieuwkomers aan de top zijn restaurant Ralf Berendsen in Lanaken, voorheen La Source (17,5 op 20) en Altermezzo in Tongeren (16,5 op 20).
